The story

Ubaid Ur Rahman, a 10-year-old founder from Colchester, UK, has just been named a 2nd-place winner at the AI Squads AI Accelerator — a global program that received approximately 200 founder pitches and drew over 4,000 participants. His platform, Questipedia, is a gamified UK-curriculum learning campus with boss battles, an AI study companion, and house competitions — built with his family and now used by children across the UK.

At the awards ceremony, judges recognised Ubaid alongside the winner and runner-up, with a community pick also announced. Ubaid pitched Questipedia live to the panel — one of the youngest founders in the room by more than a decade.

"I didn't build Questipedia to win prizes. I built it because school work was boring and I wanted learning to feel like a game. But being told it's award-winning — that means a lot of kids will get to try it. And that's the real prize."
